Solutions Guide for Cities is the guide made by the foundation Solar Impulse

Il 14 novembre 2022 si terrà alla COP27 un webinar, live da Sharm El-Sheikh, in cui verrà presentato il contenuto della guida, ossia più di 300 pagine di analisi e 180 case studies che hanno l’obiettivo di fornire case histories e ispirare i centri urbani a costruire e/o attuare rapidamente programmi di decarbonizzazione efficaci.

Although they are responsible for three quarters of global CO2 emissions, most cities have not yet started defining and implementing their action plans to combat climate change. In this context, the Solutions Guide for Cities recognizes the important role of cities on the climate and tries to help them face their responsibilities.

The report details the myriad “pain points” city leaders face in managing their ecological transition in five thematic sections:

• energy and electricity network
• construction and buildings
• mobility and logistics
• waste management
• water and urban infrastructures

Tutte le oltre 180 soluzioni presenti nella guida sono state raccolte dalle oltre 1400 soluzioni etichettate Solar Impulse Foundation già esaminate e certificate. Quest’ultime sono già state implementate in oltre 200 città e oltre 30 paesi con risultati importanti per quanto riguarda benefici ambientali ed economici.

DataLabthe tool developed by Colouree and chosen by the Metropolitan Cities of Genoa and Milan for the analysis and monitoring of the Sustainability of the Territory, is one of the solutions featured in the guide.
